Radio Drive Conjures Up Every Positive Vibe Known To Man In Studio 5

Kicking out incessant jams faster than a race horse that really needs to take a piss, Radio Drive rocked the ever-loving socks off of the Studio 5 crew last Wednesday. Space-headed keyboards, soaring arena-rocking melodies, and a relentlessly rigid rhythm section combine to make this Minnesota-bred group’s unique sound, encapsulating notes of driving indie rock, psychedelic phenomena, 80’s hair metal, instrumental section badassery, and loads more. The alt rockers have received acclaim from US and European critics alike. Lead singer Kevin Gullickson had a massive success streak before forming Radio Drive as well, including working with Gene Paul (son of Les Paul), releasing a tidal wave of original material, and receiving notice from several major record companies and Grammy-winning producers. Powered by Wes Henderson on bass, Patrick Spott behind the kit, and Joe Maffei tapping the keys, Radio Drive has morphed into a seemingly unstoppable juggernaut of musical ability, making plans to tour through your hometown and promptly destroy it.
