There Are Simply No Words. RapeDoor, Everyone...

Salvation has arrived for the denizens of the Twin Cities who seriously dig absurdly righteous quirk punk/metal. What was birthed as a joke has slowly grown into a full-fledged performing musical act (possibly via Satanic umbilical cord) and is now the entity infamously known as RapeDoor. Comprised of hellhounds Nicole Jean Rowdy (drums & vocals), Odi “Black Jesus” (bass), Ron Q Rudlong (guitar), Jake Sweet (drums & guitar), this fearsome foursome brings unavoidably real punk and metal elements to both their sound and performance. Heavy, grinding guitars and a barrage of percussion are just a couple of their signature attributes as a band, not to mention a punk-as-f**k wardrobe choice that would make Johnny Rotten weep due to his inability to keep up.

Their lyrical content pertains to every mind-in-the-gutter subject you could possibly con-cock-t (see what I did there?), including staring at people’s breasts and taking s**ts in the kitchen sink. If you were the class clown in 4th grade, your retribution has finally come to pass. Despite all this, however, a lot about the band remains shrouded in mystery, so perhaps the only way to truly grab a feel for what the hell this band actually is would be to smoke some serious herb and observe their bizarre, yet mystifyingly awesome, mating ritual on stage.
